Our Story
We’re owned by farmers—we are the growers!
YYC Growers is a farmer-owned collective of leaders in local urban and rural agriculture, using farming practices that enrich our soil and our lives.
We provide fresh, nutrient-dense produce directly from farms to customers through a subscription service, as well as operating an online store and physical farmers markets. We offer home delivery and have multiple pick-up locations throughout the Calgary metropolitan area.
We pride ourselves in being not just sustainable but, even more importantly, regenerative. The regenerative farmer is guided by this question: “Is my soil better this season than last?” The key impacts of asking this question are that the soil’s produce is more nutritious and flavourful, and the environment gets taken care of.
We are committed to providing you with the best in sustainable, nutritious, and seriously delicious food.
In addition to our member (cooperative owner) farms, we partner with other local farms and producers who align with our regenerative values and practices. We are proud to offer a wide range of products from fresh produce, grass-fed meats, pantry and much more!
