YYC Growers is ceasing operations

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the cessation of operations of YYC Growers, effective November 13, 2023. This decision was not taken lightly and was a result of significant operational and financial challenges that we've faced.

The loyalty and support of our community have meant everything to us. We have cherished the relationships we've built with you. Your trust and enthusiasm have been the cornerstone of our mission to provide local, regeneratively grown, sustainable produce to our community.

We are in the process of notifying all customers, vendors, partners, volunteers, and stakeholders of this difficult decision. We recognize the impact this sudden change will have on our YYC Growers employees, and we are doing everything within our capacity to support them during this challenging time.

As we work towards a responsible closure, please rest assured that any and all personal information entrusted to us will be held confidential and protected, in compliance with data privacy regulations.

For inquiries and concerns, please reach out to us at info@yycgrowers.ca, and we will do our best to address your needs promptly.

YYC Growers has had a long journey of providing fresh, locally sourced produce. In 2017, we established our Harvest Box program based on the Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) model, and we were proud to support the local food ecosystem. However, economic pressures on food systems in the spring of 2023 prompted a price increase and a shift in our subscription model. Despite our best efforts, we were unable to achieve operational stability.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to our community for being a part of our journey, for supporting local agriculture, and for sharing our passion for sustainable, community-driven food production.

Thank you for being a part of YYC Growers.
